Who we are and why we exist

CasinoClaude.work grew out of a simple annoyance. Type any casino query into a search engine and the first page is stuffed with sites whose "reviewers" have never opened an account with the operators they endorse. Their orderings mirror the affiliate commission on offer, not the payout wait a real customer actually endures. We take the opposite line. If a person on the review desk has not personally deposited into an operator and cashed out of it, that operator does not appear on our lists.

The bar for inclusion is deliberately unglamorous. Someone on the team has to register in their own name, pay in with a personal payment method, spend a sensible number of hours playing the library at sensible stakes, put support through three set-piece questions, and file a live withdrawal we then clock from click to cleared funds. Anything short of that is press-release recycling, not a review. We only cover operators legitimately licensed to serve players in the eight markets above, and where a country runs a national self-exclusion register or affordability regime, we do not route readers into grey-market workarounds.

The six-check review method

Every casino considered for a CasinoClaude.work list goes through the same six checks. The framework is deliberately identical everywhere we work, so a four-star casino in the UK has genuinely cleared the same hurdles as a four-star casino in Sweden or the Netherlands. Local flavour (the licensing body, the banking rails, the bonus culture) shifts market to market; the six checks do not.

Check What we do Why it matters
1. Licence Cross-checked against the regulator's live public register (UKGC, MGA, Spelinspektionen, KSA, Spillemyndigheden, ANJ, ACMA), never a footer badge. Decides who is obliged to listen when a dispute goes sideways.
2. Real deposit A reviewer funds a live account with their own money, using a payment method a first-time player in that market would actually reach for. Reveals how far the customer experience has drifted from the marketing page.
3. Game library At least five hours across three slot volatility tiers, a live-dealer session and one or more RNG table games, weighed on depth and supplier mix. Range and stability are what make a casino playable session after session.
4. Bonus terms Wagering multiple, max bet, game weighting, capped winnings and expiry read line by line before any offer is claimed. Separates offers worth grabbing from balance traps built to lock funds.
5. Cash-out timing A live withdrawal is timed from the moment the request is submitted to the moment funds clear in the receiving account. Tells you when winnings actually become money you can spend.
6. Support test Chat and email are hit with a straightforward onboarding query, a tricky bonus question and a genuinely awkward dispute scenario. Predicts the kind of help you will get on the day something breaks.

Every check is logged as a pass, a partial or a fail. Partials feed into the final score and get called out in the review body. A hard fail on licence or on cash-out is enough by itself to drop the operator from the list, whatever else it scored.

Why scores shift from one week to the next

A CasinoClaude.work score is a snapshot, not a stone tablet. Bonus terms get rewritten, cashier menus rotate, KYC procedures tighten, ownership changes hands and support teams turn over. When our monitoring picks up a material change (a payout that suddenly doubles in duration, a wagering multiple that jumps overnight, a licence that shifts status), the score moves with it and the page is dated to the retest. A four-star operator can drop to three, or off the list entirely, inside a single review cycle. That is intentional.

How the site earns its keep

Being blunt about it: affiliate commissions pay the bills. When a reader signs up with a casino via one of our outbound links, the operator may pay us a referral fee, at no extra cost to the reader. That revenue is what keeps CasinoClaude.work free to read, with no paywall, no newsletter gate and no premium tier.

What the money categorically cannot do is buy a slot on our lists. The commercial rate we take from an operator is the same rate whether we rank them first, tenth, or drop them altogether. It is agreed once, and it does not move up or down with placement. Some operators on our lists pay us nothing at all, either because they run an in-house programme we have not joined, or because we have chosen to stay off the network that carries them, and they sit where they sit because the test data put them there.

The affiliate relationship is disclosed at the top of every page that carries outbound links, and the full explanation lives on our affiliate disclosure page.

The site is edited by Dominic Clarke, Senior Editor. Dominic has close to ten years inside iGaming behind him. He started as a payments analyst at a Malta-based operator, worked his way through operations and compliance, and has spent the past four years writing about the sector as an independent editor. Every payout test and every score on this site passes his desk before it goes live.

Dominic works with a compact bench of freelance reviewers in each of the eight markets, all of them named on the pieces they contribute to. We do not run anonymous content, we do not accept sponsored posts, and we do not lean on AI to generate our verdicts. If there is a byline on the page, a human wrote it, funded the deposit and clocked the withdrawal.
